I found this site “oh, hello friend”, and everything about it is so lovely! Danni, the publisher and creator was at the Renegade Fair as well, a couple booths away from me. She sells the most darling little flower hair clips and jewelry. I love her stuff, especially the Robot!!

stitched faces…these handmade plushes are so darling! I found Danielle on Etsy and her little bears, bunnies, and kittens are so charming! I love her choice of fabrics and materials and she has a great sense for creating plushes that pull her out from the rest on Etsy. Her images are great as well, its as if the little guys got in trouble and had to sit in the corner for punishment, especially the sad ones.

Hina Aoyama is an amazing paper designer! She is a Japanese paper designer living in France. I found her site and I was so amazed by the detail in her designs! I can’t even imagine how she would even start a piece like this! Absolutely beautiful! She also has her work on Flickr.

Japan always has the coolest designs, and when I found these toys from Take-g, I wished I lived in Japan…or at least visit again! I took a wood shop class in college and remember how hard it was just to make a penguin comb! These toys have amazing details and craftsmanship, check them out! And they are safe for children and environmentally friendly!

Andrew Bannecker is a cool designer of illustrated prints. I like his designs and the print quality makes it feel a little vintage-y on some pieces. Here are a few of my favorites.

Jason Munn has always done really cool designed posters. I first noticed his work at a local craft fair that we were in together for ReadyMade Magazine’s holiday party a few years back. He has such a cool aesthetic and everything he does is so nice to look at! I can’t wait to purchase one for myself!

I have always been a fan of paper; vintage, patterned, origami… so when I found a ton of designers that illustrate in paper I couldn’t wait to post them! Ben Butcher has great designs, my favorite is the bear eating doritos and drinking mountain dew! He also designed the dog which is his dog, waffle. I liked the cool landscape but I’m not sure who designed it.

Scott C.’s work always makes me laugh. He is a designer in San Francisco and does all sorts of gallery shows and comic books! He has a Flicker page of his artwork too! I can’t wait to see his upcoming show at Gallery Nucleus so I can finally own a Scott C. orginal!!

Check out this amazing designer Jon Klassen, who is one of my favorites! His work is known in the new film Coraline, which I saw last night! The animation and design of the film is amazing! I also went to the Cartoon Art Museum in San Francisco this weekend to see the “Art of Coraline” exhibition! Tadahiro Uesugi and Dan Krall were also in the exhibition!!
